DEAR ACADEMIC WEAPON

When was the last time you took a rest?

Even in breaks, you feel the test,

A mind that races, plans, and schemes,

Afraid to shatter your own dreams.

Not your parents, not your peers,

It’s yourself you chase in fears.

Setting bars you’ve climbed before,

Always craving something more.

"You're the champ bro, you’ve go this fight,"

But does it ever feel quite right?

It’s never enough at eighty or ninety,

You need perfection, something shiny.

But what about a gentle pause?

A time for you, just because,

You’ve earned a break, a well-deserved stay,

A moment where all worries melt away.

You help your friends, you lend your hand,

Make sure they pass, you listen and understand.

You’re more than good grades, you’re bold and wise,

A star that shines both day and night.

So take a breath, don’t push too far,

You are enough just as you are.

More than book-smart, kind through and through,

Dear academic weapon, the proudest should be you.
