Begged on the streets,
Slept under trees,
Counted his coins
Yet managed to smile.
Got into his Mercedes.
Hurried up to the office room,
Pulled out the files,
Wiping sweat off his forehead.
Roads covered in sand,
Surrounded by green paddy fields,
Books in one hand,
Joy filled smiles.
The traffic jam on the roads,
Frustrated faces, sad souls,
Unhappy children off to school,
Big buildings kept growing taller.
Happy souls are born inside
In your heart deep inside,
Dig out your humanity yes that’s right
That’s all you need to live a happy life.
